Rabbi Arthur Rutberg is our temple's spiritual leader.
Rabbi Rutberg grew up in New York City. He attended New York University graduating
with a BA in Judaic Studies and Psychology. He received his rabbinical ordination and MA in Hebrew Literature from
the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion.
He brings to our community eighteen years of experience serving congregations,
both civilian and military, in Ohio, Texas and Georgia.
Before coming to the Treasure Coast, Rabbi Rutberg was the founding rabbi of
Congregation Shir Shalom in Bradenton, Florida, which grew from seven families to fifty families
during his brief tenure there.
Rabbi Rutberg is committed to interfaith cooperation, teaching Judaism to people
of all ages and backgrounds, promoting the rights of all Jews to worship and observe In their own way and keeping
himself and his congregation involved with the community.
He is a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and a former Chaplain
in the U.S. Army. He is happily married since 1984 to Sara, an exceptional Judaic artist.
